As part of the 2022-2023 schedule of continuing education of the Occupational Therapy Program at the University of Montreal, we are pleased to invite you to attend the workshop entitled: “The Evaluation of the Functional Status Assessment of the older adults in the Emergency Department”.
OTs interested in developing their assessment skills for the ED will be invited to share professional experiences with other OTs. This continuing education activity will provide them with the basic knowledge related to the assessment of functional status in the emergency.
Goals and learning objectives:
Participants will:
· become more familiar with the professional practice of occupational therapy in emergency departments;
· learn how to use a new tool for OTs working in the ED: the Functional Status Assessment of Seniors in the Emergency Department (FSAS-ED).
